A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, I hold a master's degree and over 30 years experience in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language, including at Stanford University, Stanford Continuing Studies, UC Berkeley Extension, UC Santa Cruz Extension, and Foothill College.  I speak French and Spanish fluently, I studied at Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France, for 1 year, and I have worked briefly in Japan and Brazil.  Helping to level the linguistic playing field for non-native professionals and students is my passion.  I will be your instructor, your coach, and your guide.
